For this project, I was tasked to create a magazine front scratch within a two week period from concept to print. Having a personal interest in the craft beer scene, I decided to target my magazine to people who drink craft beer.

This project involved me creating my own layouts and illustrations as well as sourcing all the imagery and articles. As craft beer is becoming more and more popular in a younger generation, I wanted the magazine to have young and modern appeal. My front cover is inspired by the current fashion of craft beer branding, and illustrates a German style town with a brewery as well as various craft beer ingredients.

I also wanted to give the magazine a more luxurious feel which ties in well with the craft beer scene, so I used lots of dark imagery and backgrounds typically associated with a hip craft beer pub.
