This branding project involved creating an identity for a denim brand of my choice. The deliverables involved designs for a rivet, button, leather patch, paper label, t-shirt and packaging.
Having worked within hospitality in a craft beer pub for 3 years, I decided to create a story about a couple of hospitality workers who wanted to create a denim brand that’s suitable for the wears and tears of working within the industry.
This denim brand in turn had expanded into the public market and become a high street brand named Motueka and Galena. The name being the name of the favourite hops of the founders.
The brand shows inspiration of the hospitality industry as well as craft beer branding to appeal to a modern and younger market.
